To ensure that customers don't miss important error codes, the COMPUSHIFT display will now show one of the following screens to get the customers attention when there is an issue that needs attention.
Note - that turning off the vehicle will clear the codes, so it is important they are captured first.
To clear the screen and review the errors:
-Press the bottom left button once to clear the warning and return to the Dashboard
-Press the Left button 4 times to list the DTC fault codes
Make a note of the DTC Code at the top of the screen - if possible take a photo with your phone so this can be emailed to Technical Support (email them to techsupport@askorto.com.au).
Note - The DTC number is more important than the description below, as some codes may share the same or similar descriptions.
There may be multiple codes, use the up and down buttons to scroll through the codes and record each.
Switch the car off to clear the codes.
If the codes immediately return, stop driving and contact Wholesale Automatics Technical Support on 03 9874 8004 - after hours please email techsupport@askorto.com.au and we will contact you as soon as we can.
You can also get support via the COMPUSHIFT Facebook group - https://www.facebook.com/groups/385818629697692
Heat related warnings should never be ignored - Change your driving style, use a lower gear, engage Low Range, use TCC Lockup or stop driving, put the car in park leave engine running to circulate the oil through the cooler.
More information on acceptable temperatures is available on page 28 of our Temp Gauge install booklet via the following link - https://automatictransmission.com.au/wp-content/uploads/installation-instructions/Temp-Gauge-Installation-Instructions.pdf
